Wow, I did not post even one blog in 2012 and the first half of 2013! I even forgot this blog existed @_@
It doesn't hurt to do a quick update of memorable events in the past year and a half.
BIG NEWS: I AM MARRIED ....................... *HIP HIP HOORAY*
Before I start anything I would like to say " I LOVE my Hubby a LOT. He is the BEST HUBBY EVER!!"

All I can say the road to marriage was generally a pleasant one but with just enough turbulence/drama to make me glad that it ended happily.
We weathered through:
Separation crisis - I was abroad for a year studying
Spiritual crisis - We are of different faiths with different beliefs. They were aspects of my life history he found difficult to accept and I had difficulty coming to terms with certain rules his faith would be imposing on my life in the future.
Wedding Planning Crisis - Who knew trying to choose a 'good date' coupled with venue availability is like picking a needle from a haystack with the barn half-way smoking up in flames. There was also a cultural difference which can be difficult to navigate without hurting anyone's feelings. At the end of the day, the secret winning formula is....a future husband with good moderating skills and a future wife who knows when to shut up.
Health Crisis - My dad was diagnosed with cancer 4 months before the wedding ceremony. I was a total wreck trying to manage work, the wedding preparations, his treatment plan , my mum's declining health and mental state due to my dad's cancer and life in general. Thank god for my hubby-to-be and his family in helping us out during this time *sniff*
Anyway, we just celebrated our first wedding anniversary last month in July which was pretty great!! One year being married and continuing the journey with the person I love....
